The DCG Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society will be taking applications for membership beginning April 18.   Rho Kappa is the only national honor society for high school social studies students in the nation.  DCG’s chapter was Iowa’s first chapter. Currently, thirty-eight states have chapters as well as four countries. Rho Kappa honors outstanding students, and encourages an interest in, understanding of, and an appreciation of the social studies. Students will have until April 22  to submit all required documents. Those selected will be participants right away in most Rho Kappa activities and inducted later this year. Requirement checklists and applications are available at the web link provided below.
